Description: Shanxi Black Granite is a fine-grained, intensive black gabbro. This stone internationally may be nominated as a granite however in the area of application of the European Standard (EN) this stone must be nominated as gabbro.
Gabbro: A dark-coloured, coarse-grained intrusive igneous rock. Gabbro is very similar to basalt in its mineral make up. It is composed mostly of the mineral plagioclase feldspar with smaller amounts of pyroxene and olivine.

First Choice Shanxi Black Granite will have no gold spots or veins. Lower cost Shanxi Black Granite may have gold spots or not able to take a gloss polish. |

Itis mainly used for flooring, cladding, kitchen counters, table tops and memorials. Shanxi Black Granite looks best when it is glossy. Available in both slabs and tiles. |
